The entire team wishes you the best for this holiday season. May your wishes come to true.
2010 will bring a couple of changes to e dot studios, but we won't get into those until later.
You can now buy LightFlux 1.0 on the AppStore. Check it out here
Today we submitted a new product to the AppStore. LightFlux is our second game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Check it out here!
We just released an update to 2 of our screensavers: IdleWeb and Desktop Tiles. Both updates are for users using Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) only. People using Mac OS X 10.5 or earlier should NOT upgrade.
We have received from several users that there are some incompatibilities with some of our products and Snow Leopard, Apple's new version of Mac OS X.
As soon as we receive our copy we will start working on updates that will ensure compatibility with the new system.
So please be patient. In the meanwhile you can send us emails if you encounter problems with our products.
Thanks!
A mayor update to our comics manager for iPhone has been sent to the AppStore and should be available shortly.
It adds some really cool new stuff and fixes a bunch of bugs and things that didn't quite make sence.
While the update is being reviewed you can watch a video of how this update looks like:

Today Apple will make available the biggest iPhone update yet, iPhone OS 3.0. Many times, even on the Mac, users of apps may be wondering if it's safe to update and if their apps will still run on the new OS.
For that we have made a list of our apps and their status on iPhone OS 3.0:
* Trips 1.1:
- requires iPhone OS 3.0
- fixes some minor graphical issues on the interface
* PuzzleTouch 2.0:
- fully works
* Comics Lib 1.3.2:
- works, although it has some minor graphical issues
- we are working on a new version that will require iPhone OS 3.0 and plan to release it at the end of this month
All new apps that are released from today on will all require iPhone OS 3.0. So we encourage you to make the update, even if you are on an iPod touch.
As you may know, we are currently working on the iPhone and iPod touch almost exclusively. With the coming of the iPhone OS 3.0, we have been working on making sure our apps work as they should on this new system.
Our Mac applications have been collecting dust for the last couple of months, but fear not. We are still commited to update RSS Menu. In fact, we will try to release an early alpha version of RSS Menu 2.0 which will work only on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or later.
Since we have our hands full supporting 2 platforms (the iPhone and the Mac) we are discontinuing all our widgets. However, you are ONLY allowed to use them or take a peek at the code. But you are not allowed to modify the code and release the widget under the same or another name.
Also, the website will probably receive a massive update, but that's still something we need to think through.
A small update to Comics Lib has been uploaded to the AppStore. It fixes an issue when uploading a file.
It should be available somewhere next week.
Today we submitted version 2.0 of our first game for iPhone called PuzzleTouch. Until this version is approved, version 1.0 will be free.
Buyers of the first game will receive the new update for free.

There's a new version available of our screensaver Desktop Tiles. This version adds the ability to randomly select an animation type.
Today we released a completely new version of our screensaver Desktop Tiles. Among the new things added are: 3 animation types, multiple monitor support and rewritten using Core Animation.
Make sure you have Mac OS X 10.5 or later installed. The previous version of Desktop Tiles is still available for download but is not supported.
A major update to Comics Lib has been submitted to the AppStore. It fixes a lot of bugs and allows you to use the Releases tab once again.
The update should be available at the end of the week.
We haven't been putting a lot of updates because we are working on new projects and redesigning several existing projects.
Our current apps will receive big updates. Starting with Comics Lib, version 1.3 will be a near rewrite of the original app, making it much more stable and having some cool new features.
Most of the applications logic will be redesigned so that it makes much more sense for you the user.
PuzzleTouch will receive a minor update. It will have some small new features.
Trips will probably be the only app that will not receive any updates. However, the following app is starting to take shape and will be way ahead the competition.
We are talking about RSS Menu, and the upcoming version 2.0. This new version will have an amazing array of new features and enhancements, and as a result it will require Mac OS X 10.5 or higher
An early beta is expected to be released this summer. So stay tuned.
Our third iPhone application, Trips, has been released. Trips is a simple application that helps you organize important information when you travel.
It sells for 0.99 USD, so go check it out.
It's been awhile since we wrote something on this page. Rest assured that we have been busy with new projects. Most of those projects are related to the iPhone and iPod touch.
In a few days we expect our third iPhone application to be on the AppStore and we'll certainly announce it over here.
And while we are waiting for that app to be in the AppStore we are thinking about our fourth app.
Next up, Comics Lib. We are thinking of a lot of ways to improve this app and make it the best app outthere for collecting comics.
Version 1.3 will have a new system for storing the listing, so it can handle large data sets. Aside from that we are concidering rewriting a large part of the application so that it behaves much better.
We have read all your comments on the AppStore, and yes, we are listening!
I received an email with an incorrect return address, so, instead of answering via email.... Ally, this is for you:
Hi I just downloaded your program and was wondering if you could tell me a site that gives a beginners tutorial or if you could quickly tell me what your meant to to, including how to put songs in
It's pretty simple. You can drag any music files from your hard drive to the list below the player. Alternatively, you can use the iTunes Music Library window. Double click on any song there, or double click on a playlist to add songs to the list.
DrDJ will then start playing. You can transition smoothly to the next song using the Fade button, or by pressing cmd-f.
and how to save the list etc..
You cannot save the list, but you can set up a playlist in iTunes and add it as a whole by double clicking its name in the iTunes Music Library window in DrDJ.
Hope this helps!

Just in time for the holiday season we decided to drop the price of our first iPhone application to 0.99 USD.
The new pricing is effective immediatly, so go get it from the AppStore.
We are proud to tell you that the long awaited 1.2 update of Comics Lib is now available on the AppStore.
